General description

The Ora Texnis is located in Agios Dimitrios, in a place where architecture activities, drawing and painting classes, as well as artistic events coexist and interact. In addition, it has a shop with art materials and equipment, original gifts and ideas for creative activities, covering all ages. A space full of colors, aromas and creative touches! Their Linear and Free Drawing classes are taught in the space, aimed at general and vocational high school students and designed to prepare candidates for admission to architecture and art courses. In addition, painting for children, robotics, clay, engraving, construction and mosaic are taught.

Robotics

The "Educational Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms" program is aimed at elementary and high school students. Through their participation in the construction of an autonomous robot, children gain an experiential understanding of the concepts behind physical quantities, learning through experience.

Robot Kids (9-10 years old) : At this level, students use WeDo 2.0 Advanced, Scratch and SPIKE Prime hardware and software. Using LEGO® motorized models and specially designed scenarios on topics such as energy, recycling, biology, natural phenomena, the planet and space, students build and program, bringing their creations to life.
Robot Teen (11+ years) : At this level, older students tackle more complex and challenging builds using LEGO®'s advanced EV3 package and SPIKE Prime. With the support of numerous sensors (such as motion, color, touch) and motors, they create and program their own robots. Through our official LEGO® software and specialized programs, students experiment and seek solutions to engineering, physics and geometry challenges.

Each year, students at the Robo-Expert level participate in the Robotics Olympiad!

Painting for children

Contact with the arts from an early age refines the soul and creates the basis for the development of thought and personality. It helps children to creatively organize their experiences, ideas and feelings, expressing them fully in a variety of art forms. At the same time, they gradually cultivate their sensitivity to artistic works and all beautiful expressions in nature and life.
