The Museum of Greek Children's Art is a unique museum dedicated exclusively to children's artistic creation. Founded in 1994 in Athens, it is one of the few museums in the world that focus on artworks created by children. Its goal is to highlight children's imagination, expression and creativity, while offering educational programs and workshops that help children cultivate their relationship with art. The museum also has an impressive collection of over 10,000 works of art created by children aged 4 to 14 years old. The works cover a variety of art forms, including painting, sculpture and construction. The museum offers a variety of educational programs for children of all ages, as well as for school groups.
Painting with parents / For children 2,5-5 years old : The Museum of Greek Children's Art enhances the creativity of preschool children through the specialized program "Painting with parents". This series of workshops aims to develop children's skills and abilities, offering them the opportunity to express themselves creatively while enjoying fun and play,
Sunday Art Workshops for children aged 6-12 : The programme includes Sunday 20 October, 10.30-12.00: "In France with Edgar Degas",
Sunday 27 October, 10.30-12.00: "In Japan with Katsushika Hokusai", workshop duration 1.5 hours and participation fee 12€,
8-month art workshops 2024-2025 : In the two-hour art workshops, carefully designed by the Museum's Education Department, children will have the opportunity to explore different materials and experiment with different painting techniques. At the same time, they will create both individual and group artworks, developing their imagination and skills. Total cost: €350,

Art Workshops on Sunday 8 December. 10:30 - 12:00 for children from 6 to 12 years old and 13:00 - 14:00 for children from 2.5 to 5 years old.
Visual Arts Event on Saturday 14 December 10:00 - 17:00. Participating and presenting their works are the students of the eight-month art workshops of MEPT.
Art Workshops on Sunday 15 December. 10:30 - 12:00 for children from 6 to 12 years old and 13:00 - 14:00 for children from 2.5 to 5 years old.
Art Bazaar on Friday 20 December 17:00 - 20:00 and Saturday 21 December 10:00 - 18:00.
Art Workshop for children from 6 to 12 years old on Sunday 22 December 10:30 - 12:00.
Christmas Art Camp. From Friday 27 December to Monday 30 December and from Thursday 2 January to Friday 3 January 08:00 - 15:30. Aimed at children from 5 to 12 years old.

On December 14, 2024, the Museum of Greek Children's Art celebrates its 30th anniversary and is pleased to invite children, adults and all those who love and are connected to art to participate in its birthday celebrations!
The Museum of Greek Children's Art, one of the few thematic museums of its kind in the world, is an innovative cultural space that presents paintings and constructions by children aged 4 to 14 years old. At the same time, it offers educational programs for schools, art workshops for children and adults, as well as seminars for teachers. The museum also has a rich archive with tens of thousands of children's works from Greece and around the world, which is accessible to researchers and students and is used for publications and thematic exhibitions.
