Lakeside School Horgen: Bilingual Day School on the Left Bank of Lake Zurich

Lakeside School's Horgen campus serves families on the left bank of Lake Zurich, in Horgen, Wädenswil, Thalwil, and the wider Zimmerberg area. It's a five-minute walk from the train station and lake promenade, at Alte Landstrasse 33-35.

What makes this campus different

• Own history. Founded in 2001 as TAZ Horgen, it joined the Lakeside School network in 2012.
• Onsite gym. PE takes place on campus, no bus to a sports facility required.
• Local Zimmerberg base. The only bilingual day school on this side of the lake with a full pathway from pre-kindergarten through primary school.

Curriculum

Lakeside School Horgen is accredited by the cantonal authorities. It combines the Swiss national curriculum, Lehrplan 21, with learning objectives from selected international curricula. English and German are both used to teach every subject, not just taught as separate language classes, with native speakers leading each language.
