Creative art workshops for kids and families in Luzern's old town
Tucked into Luzern's Altstadt on Rössligasse, Atelier Yoku is a cosy creative studio where kids (and grown-ups) get hands-on with paint, natural materials and recycled treasures. No artistic experience needed. It's less about the finished piece and more about the calm, focused fun of making something with your hands. A big painting wall, rotating creative themes and a warm, welcoming host make this a lovely regular date or one-off treat for families in and around Luzern.
Every session starts with a short creative input, then kids are free to dive in and create at their own pace: painting at the large wall easel, papermaking, plaster casting, collage, stamping, stencilling, printing, weaving, felting, dyeing or pottery, depending on the theme. Materials are mostly natural and recycled, so it's a gentle, sustainable kind of creativity.
A running series called "Wöchentliche Auszeiten" (weekly time-outs), open to kids and adults alike.
A rotating series of themed Saturday afternoon workshops, roughly once a month.
