Nature Museum of Lucerne

General Description

The Nature Museum’s three floors showcase remarkable collections of unique cultural artifacts that have been preserved, scientifically evaluated, and made available to the public. Special exhibitions change every six months, offering in-depth exploration of various natural themes. Currently, the focus is on night and darkness. Also, experience history and nature in an interactive way at the Lucerne Museum. Both buildings provide unique experiences that will leave lasting memories for visitors of all ages. Families, children, grandparents, and godparents can look forward to a diverse program that includes theater tours, guided tours, events, puzzles, quizzes, and much more.

Activities

The Nature Museum offers for kids and families : 

• Children's tours : Created by young people for children, the youth guides engage kids with nature and history through entertaining and hands-on experiences,
• Family tours : The youth guides invite the entire family to explore the captivating world of history and nature,
• Discovery fun : Discover a wealth of fascinating information about the forest and snails. Your curiosity will be rewarded with a small gift at the end,
• Night at the Museum : October 31, 7:00 - 9:30 p.m., it’s that time of year again: The museum will be filled with ghosts, witches, vampires, magicians, and other eerie characters,
• Petrushka Puppet Theater : A fairy tale from the realm of dwarves, elves, snails, and insects,
• Wonder hour : Every Wednesday from 2 - 5 pm, The Gwunderstunden features a different theme each month.
