Our first pick is the Kollerwiese Park that you will find in the center of Alt-Wiedikon. It is a very big open and green space with an amazing wooden pirate ship for children to play on and climb. The Kollerwiese Park is a great destination for families who want to have a nice day in the sun. The entire family can sit and have a nice little picnic at the lawn. The Bike Park
The Bike Park of Zurich is the first bike park of Europe and a must-go destination for all families. You will find it right behind Sihlcity, in the center of Zurich and it is very easy to access via public transportation or even your bikes! This unique 5,500 m2 bike park has routes for different ages and levels of difficulty designed specially to cover everyone from toddlers to seniors. What better place to teach your young ones how to ride a bike and have a nice time riding around together. If you get tired from all the games and the fun there are resting areas with benches and a nice fountain as well!
The Freestyle Park
At the Freestyle Park as the name implies you can let loose and enjoy some ice skating and BMX in a great 8,000m2 area. For all those who are looking for a place to spend an adventurous day out with the whole family, your bikes and your skateboards, the Freestyle Park is a place your children will definitely love! The tracks are designed with real-life elements like ramps, stairs and walls to make the experience even more fun. Here you will also find a pool area, lockers and a nice fountain in case you get thirsty. The creative ones should bring some spray along, as graffiti is allowed everywhere except the pavilion, the pedestrian tunnel and the bridge. You should also note that no pets are allowed.
