In 2024, the beloved Jelmoli Märlitram will take its final journey through the streets of Zurich, with Santa Claus and two angels on board. For many children, this special ride is an essential part of the Advent season, much like the ornaments on the Christmas tree.
The approximately 20-minute ride begins at Bellevue and travels via Limmatquai and Central to Bahnhofstrasse before returning to Bellevue. Santa Claus himself will be driving the tram, accompanied by two charming angels who will tell Christmas stories and sing carols with the little passengers. Upon returning to Bellevue, the children will receive a traditional Tirggel treat before being reunited with their parents.
