The annex of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is situated in Zurich's vibrant and trendy western district. Located at the Toni-Areal, home to the Zurich University of the Arts, it hosts rotating exhibitions that connect with teaching and research, showcase experimental projects, and engage with contemporary design discussions. Also, the Design Museum of Zurich Toni Areal hosts some special exhibitions like “Design for All? Diversity as the norm” until 20.10.2024 and it costs CHF 12.00, “Japanese Graphic Design Today” until 12.1.2025 and it costs CHF 12.00, “Large-Scale ABC” until 20.10.2024, “Helmut Schmid Typography” until 20.10.2024. Furthermore, school classes can book guided tours for any exhibition. These tours provide students with in-depth insights into contemporary design topics, encouraging discussion and the exchange of ideas.
