A close-up photograph of an infant resting on an adult's shoulder in a swimming pool. The baby, with large dark eyes and a slight smile, is the focal point, while the adult's profile is softly blurred in the background. The water is a vibrant blue with gentle ripples, and the setting suggests an indoor pool facility.

H2O Wassererleben Baby & Child Swimming

About

H2O Wassererleben offers certified baby and child swimming courses based on the Iris Augsburger method — one of Switzerland's most trusted approaches to water-based early childhood development. Courses are led by specially trained instructors and take place in warm water (approx. 32 °C), creating a safe, nurturing environment for babies, toddlers, and young children to develop a positive, confident relationship with water.

Two course formats are available: First Flow for babies and toddlers from 10 weeks to 4 years, and Let's Swim for children aged approximately 4 to 8 years. Both programmes are rooted in mindfulness, gentle progression, and a no-pressure philosophy — allowing every child to develop at their own pace.

COURSES OFFERED

First Flow 💦 — Baby & Toddler Swimming Mindfully designed for babies and toddlers from 10 weeks to 4 years. In warm water, children experience their first movement discoveries — supported by closeness, safety, and shared time with a trusted caregiver. Through gentle impulses, recurring rituals, and plenty of free exploration, children are invited to arrive at their own pace. The focus is on trust, body awareness, age-appropriate development, and building a calm, playful, pressure-free feeling in the water.
