Asimico is a handmade jewellery and creative studio based in Kusnacht, on the shores of Lake Zurich.
Founded with a mission of celebrating unity in diversity, the studio runs a range of workshops for children that blend
All sessions take place in a cosy, welcoming studio at the Tandem IMS Gymnasium in Kusnacht. Group sizes are kept small, maximum 10 children per session so every child gets personal attention and leaves with something beautiful they made themselves.
Workshops are conducted in English, Greek and German.
All materials and tools are provided. Sibling discounts are available across all programmes.

A weekly after-school activity where children aged 6 to 10 explore jewellery-making, weaving and clay art in a relaxed, creative environment. Each session ends with a mini show-and-tell. Workshops follow the Canton Zurich school holiday calendar.
What children make:
• Jewellery: beaded bracelets, necklaces, rings and clay pendants using semi-precious stones, crystals, wooden beads, coloured threads and silver wire
• Clay art: beads, pendants and charms shaped by hand using marbling, stamping and sculpting techniques
• Weaving: mini coasters, wall hangings and keychains using wool, raffia, cotton and vibrant threads

The Tuesday session is designed for older children and pre-teens with more complex techniques and greater creative independence. Activities include advanced jewellery-making, wire work, weaving and clay art, guided by an experienced instructor.

The camp includes a full week of discovery, making and connecting.
Each day combines nature-inspired crafts, jewellery-making, weaving, cultural storytelling and creative play in a safe, nurturing, screen-free environment. The week ends with a Friday showcase where children share their work with parents. Field trips use public transportation. Full week bookings only.

What kinds of activities do children do at Asimico workshops?
Children make jewellery (beaded bracelets, necklaces, rings, clay pendants), learn weaving (mini wall hangings, coasters, keychains) and explore mosaic art. All projects are hands-on and age-appropriate. Every child takes their finished piece home.
What age groups are the after-school workshops for?
There are two separate groups: Thursdays are for children aged 6 to 10, and Tuesdays are for ages 11 and up. This ensures activities are matched to each age group's abilities and interests.
How much do the after-school workshops cost?

Where are Asimico workshops held?
All workshops take place at the Tandem IMS Gymnasium, 2nd Floor, Seestrasse 157, 8700 Kusnacht, close to Lake Zurich and easily accessible by public transport from Zurich.
How much does a creative birthday party at Asimico cost?
Birthday parties are CHF 60 per child for a 2-hour session. All materials are included. Cake and refreshments are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
What themes are available for birthday parties?
Party themes include Boho Beads and Friendship Bracelets, Mosaic Art Project, Mini Weaving and Wall Art, Nature-Inspired Jewellery with shells and stones, and Rainbow Mix-Up. The birthday child chooses their favourite.
How much do the holiday camps cost and what is included?
Holiday camps are CHF 750 per child for a full week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm). The price includes all materials and healthy snacks. Children should bring their own lunch. A 10% sibling discount applies with code SIBLING10.
When do the 2026 holiday camps take place?
Upcoming dates are: Sports Camp 9 to 13 February 2026, Spring Camp 20 to 24 April 2026, and Summer Camp 13 to 17 July 2026. Spaces are limited and fill quickly.

What is the cancellation policy?
30 or more days before the event: full refund. 14 to 29 days before: 60% refund. 7 to 13 days before: 50% refund. Less than 7 days before: no refund. Refunds are processed within 14 days.
Can I book individual days of the holiday camp?
No. Full camp bookings only. Each day builds on the next as part of a creative journey leading to a Friday showcase. This ensures the best experience for every child.
Are boys welcome?
Yes, absolutely. All workshops and camps are open to children of all backgrounds. Activities are designed to be inclusive and inspiring for every child.
