The complete reconstruction of the playground at the National Gardens has transformed the site into a modern, safe playground for children of all ages. The playground includes three distinct play areas, each with different equipment and functions, designed for preschool, school-age children and teenagers. The toys are made primarily of natural wood and offer swinging, sliding, climbing, balancing and spinning capabilities. The space promotes socialization and communication between children, creating a safe and interactive play environment in contact with nature.
The playground in the National Garden includes three distinct play areas:
The first zone, designed for preschool children, is organized in four sections on slightly sloping ground. There, children can enjoy swinging, role-play, sliding, climbing, balancing, swinging, bouncing and sensory play with natural materials such as water and sand. In the first section, there are two double swings for preschool and school-age children. In the second, there is a complex structure with a platform and houses in different sizes, a slide, a balance bridge with suspended footsteps and a ramp for children with disabilities, thus facilitating access by children in wheelchairs. In the third section, games with natural materials are included, such as a sand transport construction site and water channels. In the fourth section there is a bird-shaped structure with a slide and various climbing structures. In the perimeter area there are additional swinging and bouncing toys.
The second play area, located in the central part, is suitable for pre-school and school-age children and teenagers. It includes role-playing, swinging, sliding, climbing, balancing, swinging and spinning functions. In the main part of this zone, there is a pyramidal structure with two levels and slides of different difficulty, two swings, a swing tunnel, rotating elements and climbing structures. This impressive construction is visible from the outside of the playground. On the hill, there is a castle-shaped structure with a slide-tunnel and an alternative descent for preschoolers.
The third play zone, running along the east side, includes two sections with spin and swing features for preschool and school-age children. It features a "nest" type swing and a unique rotation mill.
