Nature and Animal Park Goldau

General Description

There are exciting events and courses happening throughout the year for you to enjoy. If you get hungry, you can visit a lovely restaurant, a coffee shop, a crepe stand, or a kiosk. There are also grills available if you'd like to have your own barbecue. Also, you can explore around 100 native and European wildlife species online! There are a lot of kinds of animals that you can observe and feed them like, insects, mammals, birds, owls, reptiles, amphibians. Furthermore, the "More than Bees" project seeks to advance beekeeping, wild bee research, and nature conservation in Central Switzerland, while also facilitating knowledge transfer about bees and insects. Additionally, it aims to establish an information center for beekeeping in Goldau.

The Nature and Animal Park Goldau offers the following exhibitions : 

• «Indoor playground» Magic Forest : The enchanting indoor playground welcomes our youngest visitors to explore and enjoy. The adventure hall enhances children's courage and agility through playful activities,
• Goldau Landslide Adventure Hall : Step back into the year 1806 and experience the landslide of that era in real-time with all your senses in the simulator,
• Grosswijer farm shop : In the Grosswijer area, you can witness the harmonious coexistence of domestic and wild animals,
• Owl and raven aviary : Explore the captivating world of owls and little owls up close in the walk-in owl aviary,
• Zoo Tower : Learn about the coexistence of humans and foxes, whether in front gardens or the unique "exhibition kitchen,
• Bear & Wolf : Join the bear and the wolf as they journey through life, from childhood to old age,
• Honey bee : Step into the world of bees by becoming part of a colony. Experience their sounds, explore their way of life, and learn about their vital role inside the woven beehive.
