The Marathon Museum offers families the opportunity to see artifacts from prehistoric times to the Roman period. The permanent exhibition of the Marathon Archaeological Museum highlights the history of the region from prehistory to the Roman period, through finds mainly from the prehistoric cemeteries at Vrana and Tsepi, the tombs of the Athenians and the Plataeans who participated in the Battle of Marathon (490 BC), as well as the Roman sanctuary of the Egyptian gods at Brexiza. The Museum's findings come from excavations in the wider Marathon area. Regular ticket: 6€, reduced: 3€.
