Palaio Faliro Yacht Club

General description

The Palaio Faliro Sailing Club was founded in 1938 and since then it continues its dynamic course and its strong presence in all major sporting events. The activities of the NOPF extend to many different areas, such as the Sailing Schools, the Sports Department, the Summer Camps that offer employment to the young friends during the summer months, in order to familiarize them with the marine element and to introduce them to seamanship, as well as the organization of sport sailing competitions. The children, the young athletes, will have the opportunity to develop relationships with their peers and feel part of a team. The coaches, using modern methods that combine play and education, will keep the children's interest alive and encourage them to love the water.

Activities

The Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro offers a variety of activities and classes for children, aiming at their education and entertainment. Some of these include: 

• Sailing Schools : Educational programs that teach the basics of sailing and water sports, offering children the opportunity to become familiar with the marine environment,
• Sports Department : Programmes that include training and participation in competitions, enhancing their athletic development and teamwork,
• Summer Camps : Summer activities offering youngsters the opportunity to engage creatively, play and learn about seamanship and the marine element,
• Organizing competitions : Opportunities to participate in sporting sailing events that foster a spirit of competition and cooperation.

These activities help children to develop skills, build friendships and enjoy the sea safely.
