Bubikon Knight's House

General Description

The Bubikon Knight's House is a historic site that was once home to the Order of St. John. Visitors can explore a permanent exhibition that offers extensive insights into the history of the Knights of the Order of Saint John as well as the history of the commandery, visit the library, and stroll through the herb garden to discover the various uses of plants throughout history. The venue also offers guided tours and special events tailored for children. Furthermore, in the permanent exhibition, children can explore history through six specially designed interactive tables. They’ll discover how people traveled in the past, learn how cinnamon made its way to Europe, and immerse themselves in the Middle Ages, gaining insight into the lives of the Knights of St. John.
