The Museum presents the evolution of the technological achievements on display, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the progress in the field of Information Technology from the 1970s to the mid-1990s. At the same time, it highlights the role of these developments in shaping the digital present and their contribution to the technology of the future. The aim of the Hellenic Museum of Informatics is to gather and transmit to visitors knowledge about the history of computing. It includes exhibitions, school tours, conferences, events and device presentations. It also includes Escape Room: Hack Attack with the theme "the museum was attacked and a clock is counting down... Escape Room : Each game can be played by 1 group of adults or minors over 12 years old accompanied by at least one adult (4-6 players per group).
VR game : The award-winning start-up company Musemio, in collaboration with our Museum, invites you to explore the world of VR through an educational and interactive application. Playing in a virtual world inspired by technology, children are encouraged to discover computers through various challenges and learn the basics of computing.
