Buildastic

General Description 

Simply register online, then drop off your kids for an hour of fun, where they’ll play with LEGOs and explore science. Children will work on problem-solving in small groups of up to six. To sign up, select the appropriate level for your child (Preschool, Advanced, or Robotics and Programming) and confirm that the day and location fit your schedule. Furthermore, their unique curriculum removes all boundaries for imagination and creativity. As kids work to design and program their robots, their skills in logical thinking and programming develop naturally, leading up to an impressive showcase on the final day.

Activities

Buildastic offers : 

• Preschool and kindergarten level : They will be encouraged to engage with one another while playing a variety of games, suitable for ages 4-6, 4 session minimum 35 CHF per session,

• Advanced level : This is designed for the expert Lego builder who can effortlessly follow complex instructions and work with the intricate Lego Technic pieces, suitable for ages 6+, 4 session minimum 35 CHF per session,

• Robotics and programming : Students will find visual programming on iPads to be easy, enjoyable, and engaging, suitable for ages 8+, 200 CHF (for all 4 sessions) maximum: 6 kids.

Their Philosophy

With a box of LEGO in front of them, kids can’t wait to dive in, letting their creativity and problem-solving skills take over. Our goal is to harness that enthusiasm and direct it toward solving specific challenges—all within the fun and engaging world of LEGO play.

Session Structure

• Each child receives a LEGO kit (to be returned at the end of the session).
• Introduction to the challenge through storytelling and illustrations.
• Hands-on building using step-by-step illustrated instructions.
• Experimentation and exploration of their creations.
• Review of new vocabulary and key concepts learned.
• Show-and-tell presentation for peers and accompanying adults.

Their Goals

In a fun and supportive environment, children will:

• Develop social skills through group collaboration.

• Explore scientific concepts such as forces, power, and speed.
