General description

The Museum's educational programmes focus on traffic education and are aimed at pre-school children, primary school students, as well as high school and junior high school teenagers. The aim of the programs is to help children and young people understand and become familiar with road safety and traffic rules, while learning how to recognize and deal with potential road hazards so that they can move safely in their daily lives. In addition, at the Museum, young and old alike have the opportunity to experience Formula 1 through one of the most advanced F1 simulators in Europe. Various exhibitions such as "Made by Hellas" and "TRANSPARENT CARS" are also hosted.

The Hellenic Motor Museum offers a range of activities for children, giving them the opportunity to get to know the world of cars through educational programmes and interactive experiences.

Educational programs for Kindergarten : 
  • Traffic Education Program : The aim of the program is to teach preschool and school-age children the basic principles of road safety and traffic education through simple and understandable messages, such as: "Stop, Look, Listen" before crossing the road / ALWAYS wear a seat belt in the car, When getting out of the car, ALWAYS do it on the side away from traffic for greater safety. We behave properly while moving around in the car,

  • Lilliputian Engineers Program : The "Lilliputian Engineers" educational program is designed for Kindergarten students ages 4 and 5. Through fun, playful activities, children take their first steps into the world of Science, Technology and Engineering. They explore different concepts and phenomena, creating one or more structures at a time, observing their functions and drawing conclusions about the world around them,

  • Traffic Education Programme "I drive safely" : The Traffic Education Programme "I drive safely" is implemented in cooperation with the "Panos Mylonas" Road Safety Institute and is addressed to children aged 6 to 12 years old. The programme is conducted in an experiential and interactive way, in a specially designed area in the premises of the Hellenic Motor Museum,

  • CREATIVE PROGRAMMES 2024-2025 "MUSEUM" : Artistic Workshop. Creative activities for children from 5 years old. Includes painting, clay constructions, games and many surprises!!!

Educational programs for Primary School : 
  • Museum Traffic Education Program "I drive & I walk: Getting Around Safely" : The purpose of the program is to help elementary school students understand the rules of the road and develop skills for safe travel, as well as the ability to understand and deal with road hazards. Through the activities, students take on the roles of drivers and pedestrians, re-enact traffic situations and share their thoughts and experiences. At the end, they participate in a "hunt" for hidden words and create a poem on the theme of traffic education,

  • "New Program - STEM & Road Safety" : STEM Education offers a special educational activity for students in grades 4, 5 and 6, inviting them to take their first steps in the world of educational robotics. Robotics is used as a tool to teach traffic education and road safety, combining learning with fun,

  • Traffic Education Programme "I Drive Safely" : The Traffic Education Programme "I Drive Safely", which is carried out in cooperation with the "Panos Mylonas" Road Safety Institute, is addressed to children aged 6 to 12 years old. It is implemented in an experiential and interactive way in a specially designed area at the Hellenic Motor Museum. Under the guidance and supervision of pedagogues, students enjoy a pleasant experience, learning the basic rules of traffic education.

Educational programs for High School - Lyceum : 
  • "Road Behavior & Safety" for High School Students : The program aims to equip high school students with the necessary knowledge on proper road behavior and safety, as well as practices to apply, either as pedestrians or as future drivers. Through group activities, students will become aware of the dangers that can occur on the road, learn the correct use of transport and develop skills that will help them to protect themselves and drive safely,

  • "Road Safety Seminars" : Javert S.O.S. (School of Road Behaviour) offers free Road Safety Seminars, aimed at improving road culture, mentality and culture. The seminars aim to raise the awareness of citizens when driving in the highly dangerous road environment, in order to reduce road accidents, which have a serious impact on public health,

  • "Make Roads Safe Hellas" : The objectives of the programme are to raise awareness of road risks, correct road behavior in relation to the roads and compliance with the rules.

  • Formula 1 simulators : The Museum has one of the most sophisticated F1 simulators in Europe, where young and old alike can experience driving a Formula 1 race car while learning the basics of driving,

  • Guided Tours for Children: Children have the opportunity to participate in guided tours designed specifically for their age and learn about the history of cars by exploring the Museum's exhibits,

  • Interactive Games and Activities: The Museum also offers interactive games and activities that help children learn through play, enhancing their understanding of automotive technology and safety.
