The OTE Group Telecommunications Museum, a corporate and technological museum founded in 1990, is housed in a two-storey building in Nea Kifissia.
Through its exceptional collections, the Museum highlights the evolution of one of the most important sectors of technology, telecommunications, while at the same time telling the story of OTE, which is closely linked to Greece and its development. This year it celebrates 35 years of operation and 15 years of educational programmes, offering annually more than 300 educational programmes and activities for school groups and families.
The Telecommunications Museum, through its program "A World of Stories," continues this year for the 14th year to offer educational programs and activities for schools and families! Visitors can participate in art and STEM workshops, communication games, theatrical performances, informative activities, storytelling workshops and guided tours. On the renovated 2nd floor, new themes are presented, such as analogue and digital centers, Internet, Gaming and mobile telephony. For the 4th consecutive year, the Museum "travels" online to remote schools in the region with the art programme "The Museum in our suitcase". Participation in all the Museum's activities is free of charge! There are also family programs, a permanent exhibition and video games and their history.

What is the role of robots in space?
Through interactive activities, children learn how robots help humans explore space using advanced telecommunication tools. Using educational robotics materials, they create remote-controlled robotic space vehicles and embark on their first space mission, collecting rocks from distant planets.

How do we carry a message from Mars to Earth?
Children explore the use of laser beams in satellite communications. Using educational robotics materials, they build a model satellite that can send and receive laser signals. They then program a micro:bit processor and work together to communicate, carrying a message from Mars to Earth.

Can a telephone be turned into a work of art?
After browsing the Museum's exhibition and discovering telephones with dials, keys and cranks, children, under the guidance of sculptor Martha Dimitropoulou, are introduced to the secrets of ceramic art. They create their own telephone devices out of clay, combining art with technology.
