Bruno Weber Park, the largest sculpture park in Switzerland, is renowned both within the country and internationally. Furthermore, there is a magnificent castle of the Weber family with amazing mosaics and sculptures. A great variety of art related events and workshops are organized here like drawing, painting and a poetic atelier.
There are special prices for children, students and families.
Eating is not allowed inside the park but there is a public area nearby where you can have a nice family picnic. The Dietikon artist Bruno Weber has made this power of his imagination visible on a patch of earth and has overcome all limits and resistance with courage and perseverance.
Bruno Weber Park contains :
Theaterplatz : Four double owls mark the Theaterplatz, a dual-gated square encircled by theatrical elements. This area serves as a reception space and a central hub within the overall complex,
Vienna Owl) : This original sculpture, with a replica located at the Technical University of Karlsplatz in Vienna, stands 18 meters high and weighs 180 tons,
Day and Night Gate : Symbolizing the polarity of humanity, this gate represents the transition from day (south) to night (north),
Assembly of the Wise Men : These functional seating sculptures, arranged in series as people or objects, serve as supporting walls, seating, or space boundaries opposite the pavilions. Individual pieces of these sculptures are scattered throughout the park,
Pavilion : This row of studios houses auxiliary rooms. The hexagonal pavilion, now used as a warehouse, originally accommodated artisans and artists who worked there,
Double Pyramid : A precursor to Weber's head houses, this structure was designed as a place for people from different backgrounds to meet, uniting the polarity of light and dark—where there is light, there is also shadow,
Dragon Gate : This curved, multi-part dragon sculpture, symmetrically arranged with a male arch on the left and a female arch on the right, forms the entrance to the forest garden,
Spring Goddess : Bruno Weber's first outdoor sculpture, dedicated to the spring he discovered. The initial male and female outdoor sculptures were created using the columns on the front of the house,
Residential Building : The house seems more grown than built, as if the concrete spreads over the facade in a delicate network, growing into a tower where the starry hall unites the globe and the firmament,
Ηouse Pond with Snake Bridge : The snakes integrate art and nature in a spatial fusion, creating a perspective stage design with side, middle, and rear views to enhance the depth effect, making the pond appear longer and more stretched,
Dolphin Fountain : Originating from a design competition for the church square in Dietikon, this fountain sculpture, symbolizing the Christian fish, was never installed at its intended location due to a failed referendum.
